“The President expressed his sincere condolences to the Vietnamese people for the death of President Quang, who made significant contributions to develop and strengthen the Egyptian-Vietnamese relations, said presidency’s spokesperson Bassam Radi in official statement Friday.

Vietnam s state media reported the death of President Quang, a former chief of internal security who became one of the most high-profile leaders in the communist-ruled country, at the age of 61 on Friday, after an illness.
